acting classes and
musical theatre classes
Beyond our comprehensive acting and musical theatre classes, we offer additional opportunities for enrichment and growth throughout the GTA.
Empowering the Next Generation of Performers and Leaders
At The Travelling Stage Studio, we believe the performing arts are about more than dancing, singing, and acting. They’re about discovering who you are. Through hands-on training and personalized coaching, we help students develop technical excellence while also finding their voice, taking up space with confidence, and stepping into leadership both on and off the stage. Every class is designed to empower young performers to express themselves boldly and lead with authenticity.
“If you’re always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be.”
— Maya Angelou

Yes, the parking lot is full! Please know that although there are many young performers in the program, we work with them in small groups across several spaces simultaneously at the church space. The ratio is maximum 1:15 as we have a full teaching team on each evening. The final production brings all participants together. We also combine groups in preparation for the final production to solidify choreography sequences and musical numbers involving all students.
We know it’s tempting, but please try to resist combing through the script for your child’s lines. This is an educational program with a devised theatre or “collective creation” approach. The script in front of you is not what you will see on stage. Every single participant will be featured in a way that sets them up for success.
We accept cheque, EFT, e-transfer and all major credit cards.
Please note that we do charge a processing fee for credit cards.
Due to the nature of the programs and services offered by The Travelling Stage, once registered, The Travelling Stage has a No Refund Policy.
Registered participants or guardians are responsible for the programming fees in full. The exception to this is if The Travelling Stage is required to cancel a program due to low enrollment. In this case, all paid registrants will be refunded in full.
Please keep in mind, programming numbers are confirmed and aligned with various fixed costs. These costs include, but are not limited to, number of instructing artists, location/size of the instruction venue, and licensing fees.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances do arise. Should you or your child not be able to participate in a registered program, we offer the following options in a situation where the scheduled program date has not yet commenced.
- If the program in question has an active waitlist, we will make every effort to fill your spot with another performer. Once the waitlisted participant registration is complete, a refund will be issued, limited to the fees already collected, less an administration fee of ($75), to the cancelling participant or guardian.
- If the program in question does not have an active waitlist, a transferable credit, equal to the fees already collected, less an administration fee of ($75) will be applied as a Travelling Stage credit in the name of the participant or guardian. This credit can be applied to future enrollment in programming offered by The Travelling Stage. The credit will appear on your account and applied to any program or new enrollment as indicated by the registered participant or guardian.
The Travelling Stage values the quality of our programming and level of instruction. In order to provide this, once the advertised start date of the program has commenced NO Refunds, Transfers, and/or Credits can be offered.
